Kimani is a class of 2020 Questbridge Scholar who is passionate about activism, technology, and the arts. She studies Learning and Organizational Change at NU. Also, she loves cats and cooking, but only when they're mutually exclusive.

Akansha (she/her) is a third year student studying electrical engineering. She became interested in technology and design while she was a part of her school’s robot fighting team. She is excited to join the TREE Lab as it combined her love of engineering with her concerns regarding how technology interacts with people’s lives.

Titobi is a senior at Northwestern, studying Computer Science and Legal Studies. Her interests lie at the intersection of technology, race and justice. She works cross functionally with the TREE lab, and she interned remotely with Google during the summer of 2020.

Lysander (he/him) is an artist & illustrator from Hong Kong. He is a third year studying Materials Science & Engineering, curious about the changes technology brings and the implications this has on individuals. In his free time, you can find him practicing the piano, journaling, and thinking about food.

Mary was the illustrator for Edition I of the journal. She studies computer science and art, and she is interested in creating technological artwork to demonstrate ideas about control, production, and interactivity within the digital realm.
